WHAT TO EXPECT FROM US: You have chosen a vacation home, signed a rental agreement and paid a deposit – now what? First, we want you to know that we are happy to help you with anything you need to make your vacation perfect – so please feel free to email or call anytime you have questions concerning Windsor Hills, our home, Disney, or your vacation. With that said, we do respect your privacy, so we will not over load your inbox with emails! We try to give you the information you need when you need it – this packet is the first step in that process. You will probably read it as soon as you receive it – but don’t throw it away - it will be even more valuable as your vacation gets closer! Between now and the first day of your vacation, you can expect to receive the following emails from us:

  • Payment Reminder: You should have already received a Receipt/Invoice email that shows your remaining balance. The balance is due 8 weeks before your vacation. We will send a “payment reminder” email about 9-10 weeks before your vacation.
  • Receipt/Paid in Full: After the balance is paid, you will receive an email showing that your vacation is paid in full.
  • It’s Almost Vacation: After your balance is paid in full, we will send an email that contains the address and phone number to the home as well as detailed directions to the home from the front of Windsor Hills. Do not delete this email – you will have to take a copy of it with you to check-in at Windsor Hills.
  • Lock codes and final info: about 1 week before your arrival you will receive the codes for the door and alarm system. This email will also contain final information about your stay in our home.

SECURITY DEPOSIT AND FORMS?: As part of the rental agreement that you have already signed and returned to us, you completed a booking form that listed all of the guests that will be in our home during your vacation. This list of guests is required by Florida law, and is used in the case of an emergency – if the list changes before your arrival PLEASE LET US KNOW! We also asked for credit card information on the booking form. The credit card information is taken in lieu of a cash security deposit. This is similar to the imprint all hotels take upon check in, except in our case, this process saves our guests the hassle of having to find an offsite office location to register and check in, we feel it is a huge added convenience to our guests to do so in advance in this manner! Please KNOW that we will not charge your card unless the home is left unusually dirty or there is damage beyond normal wear and tear. We will notify you in the event this becomes necessary following checkout. We truly believe that you are our guest – and we try to live by the golden rule – as a result, we have been blessed - we have only had to charge one guest in 4 years –and wow did they leave a mess!
